As I question how popular culture shapes isolated moments, I begin to wonder how they influence our self-perception. In this piece, I find iconography within myself. The eyes being the most identifiable hallmarks of a person, I etched my own for this piece. The varying stylization calls on ideas of recognition and iteration of representations.
