Acrylic paint and cut-paper on mixed media paper

This design was derived from Minako Yoishida’s album, Monochrome. The text translates to “my black hair, flowing,” a lyric form her song “Tornado.” I was interested in synthesizing motifs in her music to create a design honoring this artist.
