Acrylic paint and Prismacolor pencil on mixed media paper

I used these figures to conduct an experiment with color. Each of their skin tones is a tint while their clothes and hair are saturated compliments. The background color is then a shade of their tertiary colors. Learning more about color theory has infused a lot of fun into my work while teaching me a nuanced sense of value and depth.
